What It Is
Geomembranes are flexible synthetic liners manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin. Once installed and seamed by hot-wedge or extrusion welding, they form a continuous, impermeable barrier that prevents the migration of liquids, leachate or gas through the soil beneath. Willem Olaf supplies smooth and textured geomembranes in a range of thicknesses, formulated with carbon black for UV stabilisation and chemical additives suited to West Africa's high temperatures and intense rainy-season UV exposure. Whether you are lining an irrigation reservoir, a fish pond or a landfill cell, our geomembranes are tested to ASTM and GRI standards before they leave the warehouse.
